Bringing Arlo to Life
Knowing that a large percentage of our customers are parents, we really wanted to design a kids range that was practical and durable, but also vibrant, colourful and fun!
Designing Arlo was all about combining playful, youthful colours with user-friendly features for little hands. The entire collection was carefully thought out with real-life scenarios in mind, from school and daycare to travel and outdoor adventures.
The Products
There are FIVE products in the Arlo Collection, including a Backpack, Lunch Bag, Lunch Cooler Bag, Pencil Case and Kids Water Bottle Bag.
Our Arlo Backpack offers plenty of space for lunch, snacks, books and a 550ml water bottle, with a dedicated insulated pocket. We’ve also included durable zips and a strong magnet front flap to keep belongings safe and secure.
Both our Insulated Lunch Cooler and Kids Lunch Bag keep snacks fresh, chilled and organised, while the understated Pencil Case is perfect for keeping stationery and small essentials in check.
Potentially the most exciting and anticipated product to come from this collection is our Arlo Kids Water Bottle Bag! We’ve reimagined our best-selling water bottle bags with this kid-friendly design, so you can match with your mini on those morning strolls and weekend outings and not be weighed down with multiple bottles and necessities. This might just be our new favourite parenting hack!
The Colours
Choosing the colours for our Arlo Collection was a full Ela & Earth team effort and all four of them were rather seamless and unanimous:
Periwinkle - For the ever-curious adventurer
Mustard - For the little ray of sunshine
Dusty Pink - For the soft and gentle natured
Ocean Blue - For the playful yet calming energy
For this collection, we’ve also introduced contrast cream piping and a bold red logo - making it even easier to spot your mini!
The Campaign
Capturing the Arlo Collection was a whopping THREE day photoshoot. For this campaign, it was important for us to capture all of the different design features, and really showcase how these products can be used and enjoyed in real life.
We had four gorgeous little models that joined us for a big day of photos both in the studio and out on location along the Kingscliff foreshore. We chose models ranging between 4 - 10 years old to really show how the products can be utilised across a wide range of ages.
Our Audience
We designed our Arlo Collection to be versatile enough to suit a diverse age group. Whether your little one is at daycare, kindy or primary school, these products can be used across all ages, while also being perfect for travel, day trips, sports days and sleepovers.
As well as being fun and stylish, we’ve ensured each piece is durable and built to last, packed with handy features to make life a little smoother for parents, too!
