Digital Marketing Manager

Location of workplace: Tweed Heads warehouse / office

Role: Full-time / 8.00am – 4.30pm


About the role 

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for developing and executing Ela & Earth’s marketing strategy across digital, social, email, partnerships, content, and campaigns.

Reporting to the Founder, you’ll lead the marketing team while working closely with the Product & Brand Manager to ensure every product launch, campaign, and customer touchpoint delivers a cohesive and compelling brand experience.

This role requires someone who enjoys balancing strategic planning with execution, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building a brand customers genuinely love.




Skills and experience 

Proven experience developing and implementing integrated B2C marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.

Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including paid social, email marketing, influencer marketing and content marketing.

Experience managing marketing budgets and campaign performance.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights.

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

Highly organised, proactive and process-driven.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.

Experience using marketing platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, Google Ads and Klaviyo.

Experience leading, mentoring and developing high-performing teams.




What this role involves


Marketing Strategy & Research:

  • Oversee budget planning and allocation for marketing campaigns, ensuring effective use of resources. 
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Own the annual marketing calendar, incorporating product launches, campaigns, collaborations and seasonal initiatives.
  • Develop integrated marketing plans across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market research, customer insights and competitor analysis.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure marketing initiatives support broader business priorities.




Campaign Management:

Lead the planning, coordination and execution of integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Paid Social Media Lead. Campaigns include:

  • Product launches
  • Seasonal campaigns
  • Brand campaigns
  • Promotional campaigns
  • Collaborations and partnerships
  • Community initiatives

 

Product Launches & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Product & Brand Manager throughout the product lifecycle to deliver successful launches and consistent brand messaging. This includes:
  • Developing go-to-market strategies for all new product launches.
  • Creating launch timelines and coordinating campaign execution.
  • Aligning marketing activity with product development and launch schedules
  • Translating product features into compelling customer messaging.
  • Collaborating on campaign concepts, storytelling and creative direction.
  • Ensuring consistency across packaging, website messaging, social media, email marketing and advertising.
  • Providing customer insights and campaign learnings to help inform future product development.
  • Working closely with Ecommerce, Operations, Customer Service and Warehouse teams to ensure launch readiness.

 

Digital Marketing & Growth

  • Own digital acquisition strategy across:
  • Meta (Facebook & Instagram Ads)
  • TikTok Ads
  • Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max)
  • Oversee budget allocation, performance optimisation, and scaling decisions.
  • Work with the paid social media lead on creative testing and performance insights across all paid channels.
  • Own CRM and retention strategy, including Klaviyo EDMs and automated flows.

Data, Reporting & Commercial Insight

  • Work closely with the marketing team to analyse and report on performance across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics including revenue, MER, ROAS, conversion rate, AOV, and retention.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Founder and leadership team.
  • Use data to inform decisions, prioritisation, and growth opportunities.

 

Team Management

  • Marketing team (Influencer Coordinator, Social Media & Creative Assistant, Graphic Designer and Social & Paid Media Lead)
  • Ecommerce team (Ecommerce Assistants).
  • Set clear goals, KPIs, and accountability across teams.
  • Coach, develop, and performance-manage team members.
  • Build strong structure, clarity, and execution rhythm.
  • Foster collaboration within the team and across other departments to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.

Product & Brand Manager (Full-Time)

Role: Full time (Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm)

Reports to: Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager

 

About the role

The Product & Brand Manager is responsible for shaping the future of Ela & Earth through strategic product development, category expansion and brand stewardship.

This role sits at the intersection of customer insight, product innovation and commercial strategy. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing new products and collections, guiding the product roadmap and ensuring all products align with the long-term vision of the brand.

You will work closely with the Founder, Marketing Team, Operations Team and external suppliers to bring innovative products to market and drive sustainable growth.

 

What you will bring

  • 5+ years experience in Product Development, Product Management, Category Management or Brand Management

  • Experience within consumer products, retail or e-commerce

  • Strong commercial and analytical capability

  • Proven ability to manage multiple product development projects simultaneously

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Strong understanding of customer behaviour and market trends

  • Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers

 

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Develop and maintain a 12–24 month product roadmap

  • Identify new product opportunities and category expansion initiatives

  • Conduct market, competitor and trend analysis

  • Evaluate customer needs and emerging market opportunities

  • Present strategic recommendations for future product development

  • Ensure product decisions align with business objectives and profitability targets

Product Development

  • Lead the end-to-end product development process from concept to launch

  • Develop detailed product briefs and specifications

  • Manage product sampling, testing and approvals

  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers throughout development

  • Refine product features, materials, colours and finishes

  • Ensure products meet quality, functionality and brand standards

  • Manage packaging and product presentation requirements

Brand Leadership

  • Act as the guardian of the Ela & Earth brand

  • Ensure all products align with the brand's positioning and customer promise

  • Guide collection architecture, colour strategy and product storytelling

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to maintain brand consistency

  • Support the development of product launch strategies and messaging

Customer & Market Insights

  • Analyse customer feedback, reviews and survey data

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity

  • Identify customer pain points and opportunities for innovation

  • Translate customer insights into product improvements and future product opportunities

Commercial & Category Management

  • Monitor product performance and category profitability

  • Recommend pricing strategies and product positioning

  • Evaluate product lifecycle performance

  • Identify opportunities to improve gross margin and product mix

  • Support range optimisation and SKU rationalisation initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing to support product launches

  • Collaborate with Buying & Inventory Planning to ensure alignment between product strategy and inventory requirements

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing supply continuity

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners
