What's the best cleaning method?

Are they leakproof?
Our water bottles shouldn’t leak if they are upright with the lid screwed on tightly and the mouthpiece folded down. However, there’s always a chance the mouthpiece could become dislodged (for example, getting knocked around in your handbag!) which is why we hesitate to describe them as 100% leakproof.

I bought the 1/2 liter bottle to make it easier to carry around, but also so I can fit some extra stuff in the main compartment of the water bottle bag. Bottle is study but not heavy and keeps my water cool for a long time, loving it so far. The handle is great, all my other bottles had a small loop that made carrying it a bit cumbersome at times and strains the wrist, the full loop handle on this balances the weight perfectly
