Odyssey - Essential Backpack Set [Large]

After much um’ing and ahh’ing about whether to purchase this bag - because let’s be honest - $142 (got it on sale) is a lot to pay for another black backpack, I finally bit the bullet thanks to E&E’s persistent yet effective ads reminding me once again why this bag was worth treating myself as someone who travels semi-frequently interstate for work.

When it arrived I tried to keep my expectations low for fear of being disappointed but I needed not fear - dare I say this is the bag of my dreams?!

Let me tell you about it, as I did very animatedly to my housemates which, for an autistic, chronically monotone girly is actually a big thing.

Firstly - it’s big but not bulky. It holds a lot but doesn’t look like I’m hiking a 10 day trail - excellent.

It holds its shape!! You can pop it on the ground empty and it stands up on its own.

Then, the thing that makes me happiest about this bag - the adjustable straps are tuckable so that they don’t dangle and look all messy. Yes, this was somehow high on my list of desires in a bag.

The internal bottle holder - LOVE. As a big bottle girly I appreciate as keeping hydrated while traveling is one of the biggest struggles and being able to keep it inside, again, keeps the bag looking slim and not bulky.

A million pockets for everything you can dream of.

The gunmetal black details, I didn’t know how much I needed. They’re sexy and elevate the whole bag. As a lesbian I approve.

The straps are again, not bulky yet comfy!
