The Collection
Our new silicone lunchware range features three versatile Bento Box styles, each available in Dusty Pink, Sage Green, Biscuit, and Lilac, perfectly matching our existing Nesting Containers.
We wanted to make this range as functional as possible, so we listened closely to our customer requests! You’ll notice each piece features a leakproof lid, and is microwave, air fryer, oven, freezer and dishwasher safe for easy heating, freezing and cleaning.

Two Removable Compartment Bento Box
This clever Bento Box comes with two separate silicone inserts that fit snugly inside the main box. It’s perfect for meal prepping or portioning out different foods, giving you the flexibility to use the inserts or remove them for one large space. Practical, stylish, and full of possibilities, it’s a lunchbox ready to adapt to your day.
Three Removable Compartment Bento Box
Similar to the two-compartment style, this box comes with three removable silicone inserts, giving you ultimate flexibility for meal prep and portion control. You can use all three inserts for fully separated meals, remove the two smaller inserts to create a two-compartment bento, or remove them all for one large open space - making it not only versatile but also our best-value lunchbox for everyday use.
Three Fixed Compartment Bento Box
Designed to keep foods completely separate, this style is ideal for younger kids or anyone who prefers a lunchbox without removable inserts. It’s perfect for lunches where separation matters, like dips, sauces, or snacks that shouldn’t mix!
Behind The Design
Expanding our lunchware range has been something close to our hearts. When our founder Judi first started Ela & Earth, it all began with our stainless steel Bento Boxes - so introducing a new material to the mix felt like a big next step. It was crucial that anything new complemented those original designs while staying true to our brand’s foundations of practicality and timeless style.
After months of testing, tweaking, and plenty of lunch-packing trials, silicone emerged as the perfect fit. It’s lightweight yet durable, flexible for storage, and completely food-safe. However, the biggest tick from us? They are completely heat-proof making them a meal-prep dream!
From leakproof lids and removable compartments to a palette of soft, playful tones that pair perfectly with our existing products, every detail was carefully considered. Seeing it all come together at both the studio and lifestyle shoots had our team buzzing - and debating over which style to purchase first.

Yes! All silicone used in our bento boxes is food-grade and completely safe for everyday use. You can pack hot or cold meals, snacks, and treats with confidence.
Q: Are the bento boxes safe for hot food?
Yes! The boxes are designed to handle both hot and cold foods without compromising safety or quality.
Q: Which appliances are they suitable for?
These boxes are microwave, freezer, oven, airfryer and dishwasher safe, making reheating, storing, and cleaning super easy. Our silicone bento boxes can tolerate up to 200 degrees and down to -30 degrees.
Q: How do the removable inserts work?
The two- and three-compartment boxes come with silicone inserts that fit perfectly inside the main box. Use them to keep foods separated or remove them when you need one large open space - perfect for meal prep or larger lunches.
Q: How do the fixed compartments differ?
The three-compartment fixed box keeps foods completely separate at all times. It’s especially great for younger kids or anyone who prefers a box without removable inserts.
Q: Are the lids leakproof?
All lids are leakproof, so your meals stay contained. That said, while the overall lunch box is leakproof from the outside, we can’t guarantee they’re 100% leakproof on the inside from compartment to compartment - so a little extra caution with really saucy foods is always a good idea.
Q: Which size should I choose?
The two- and three-compartment styles give you flexibility depending on how much you want to pack or how many separate foods you need. The fixed compartment style is perfect for anyone who wants guaranteed separation without fiddly inserts.
Q: How do these fit with existing Ela & Earth lunchware?
The colours were carefully chosen to match our existing Nesting Containers, making them easy to mix, match, and stack with your current lunchware collection.
Q: What if I lose a removable compartment?
Not to worry! We have silicone compartment packs available for individual purchase on our website. You can pick up either a duo pack (two compartment) or trio pack (three compartment) if one gets misplaced. This is also super cute if you want to mix and match colours!
